Audrey Carter, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Ms. Audrey Carter is an Occupational Therapist, registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), a practicing member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT), and a clinician member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators (CSME). She is qualified and registered to practice in the province of Ontario.
She graduated from York University with a Specialized Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She continued her education at McMaster University where she completed a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Ms. Carter has experience with assessment and treatment of individuals with cognitive, neurological, psychological and musculoskeletal impairments. Her experience includes working with adults and older adults in hospital, clinic, and community settings.
She holds the Certification in Medicolegal Expertise (CMLE) through CSME and the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment (CAPDA) as well as the CSME/CAPDA CAT Certification with designation of C-CAT (FO). She is a registered Authorizer for the Assistive Devices Program in Ambulation Aids, Seating, and Wheelchairs (Manual and Power), and also holds certifications in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST), Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), and Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA).
